Spanky sitting pretty

I guess I shouldn’t say ‘pretty’ seeing he is a boy. He is looking lovely and looking so grown up. It is always lovely to hear how they are all going and getting updated pics. He loves hunting bugs and I wish some of mine were as interested when we get a fly inside.

Beau getting bigger

Its hard to believe that this litter will be 1 in March. The time has flown by so quickly and sometimes it only feels like yesterday Riah had her 6 babies (so far the biggest litter we have had here).

Like father like son

Well it appears that Leo’s lilac tabby son Newton is a chip off the old block. Both didn’t want pics taken at 2 weeks and just wanted their mummy. Newton is a spitting image of his father and I can’t wait to watch him grow up.

The baby boys- Famous Scientist litter

Well they don’t have individual names yet (that usually comes at 2 weeks of age) but they had to carry on with the theme of their father Galileo who is a famous scientist. At this early stage we have 2 seals and 2 lilacs with their tabby markings coming in closer to 2 weeks of age. I am fairly sure 2 are tabbies though but will wait to be sure.

The babies are here

Our first litter for the season arrived yesterday morning at around 6am onwards. Willow and Leo are the proud parents of 4 beautiful little boys. Its a shame we don’t have any girls in the litter but I am just happy they arrived safely. They are all doing well and mum is being very protective of her little bundles.

The first picture of them below not long after the last baby was born.

Getting rather round

Poor Willow is getting rather fat with her first litter. She has a week to go and just loves lazing around in her room. We are getting her ready for the impending birth and I am hoping that everything goes well for her. I think she is going to be a wonderful little mother.

Spanky

Well this young man sounds very much like a real little character. He loves playing fetch and hide and seek. Some do say that Birmans can be very dog like in their behaviour and I think Spanky sure stands up to that.

I have modified the below photo as he did have red eye so that is why his eye colour is a bit off. Lol.

Our new addition

Well she has been here a couple of weeks now and has settled in really well. She is to be my new future queen bringing with her some NZ lines from her mothers side. I am very much looking forward to watching her grow up and have little Leo babies. She came down from NSW and I am very lucky to have her as part of my breeding program.

So this is little Tulula (Minosa Bet your Boots).

Merry Xmas from Bigsy

It was lovely to hear how Bigsy was going. His mum tells me he loves to take showers and doesn’t mind getting soaked. Funny boy he is. His mother used to like putting her toys in the water bowl and scooping them out but not getting her whole body wet.

Mister Beau

Beau sounds a real cheeky little boy. He seems to be keeping his mother on her toes with his antics. It is hard to see who they look more like but I am thinking this little boy looks a fair bit like his father.
