A little boy and his dad

I have wanted to see what Leo’s reaction would be to one of his children and today I took one of his sons out to see him. Grandma Ivy also got to see him but wasn’t overly impressed (typical girl). Leo wasn’t sure what to make of his son and couldn’t work out why this thing was visiting him. I got some photos anyway.

Famous Scientists at 9.5wks

These guys are such sweet little boys. Can’t believe it will only be a couple of weeks and I will be getting ready for them to leave the nest. One is off to SA, another down the coast and another off to Melbourne. One little guy is still looking for his forever home but I am also kind of watching his development (not that I need another boy).

Happy 1st bday to ‘The Little Rascals’

It really does not seem like a year ago that these little guys came into the world. The uncanny thing for me was that there were 5 boys and 1 girl and 5 blues and 1 seal (what are the odds). Such a shame there was nothing from this litter for me to keep but all have gone to lovely homes so I can’t ask for more than that.

In order in the photo (L-R): Spanky, Sophie, Otter, Tobi, Beau (hiding) and Bigsy.

What to do….

This little boy is so cute and naughty. I am watching him atm in the hope he will maybe replace his father Leo. I am also hoping to repeat the mating that produced him in the hope for a girl. Such a hard decision to make and one I hope gets easier as he gets older.

Our next mother in waiting

Our girl Sahara (Shakandah Sweet Sahara) is pregnant and due to have kittens in mid April. She had a months stay with her boyfriend and without any mating sited has nicely ‘pinked up’. I hope everything goes well for her and fingers crossed we get a girl.

The Famous Scientists are 6 weeks old

Hard to believe how quickly this time goes. The little boys are now 6 weeks old and having heaps of fun. They are such a friendly bunch of boys and I am very happy with them. It is nice to watch them grow up because I own both of the parents and can see similarities to both of them. Of course they are also the first 2nd gen. Berrick’s which is even more special.

Bigsy from a few weeks ago

I have been a bit slack updating with pics. Here is a pic of Bigsy sent a little while ago. I can see his mother in him so much. He sounds like a real little clown and it is hard to believe he is getting so big. He was always one of the smaller boys.

Leo Daddy

Well he isn’t looking his most glamourous at the moment but I thought I would try and get some new pictures of him. He doesn’t have a very big attention span so you have to be quick when it comes to capturing him. His sons are all going well and getting bigger by the day. His mini me is just gorgeous and I am enjoying watching them all grow up.

A retiree looking for a new home

I don’t know that I can call him a retiree as he actually hasn’t worked but anyway. My boy Teller is a 3 year old Seal point. He came here when he was 5 months old when his breeder retired from breeding. I had such grand plans for him as he did very well in shows and has quite a number of ribbons and rosettes. The hard decision has been made that he should be a loving pet for someone. He loves having cuddles and I think would adjust well to being a pet. If anyone knows of someone who would love an older boy please get them to email me.
