Well a lot has been happening her at Berrick in the last few weeks. We have some very sad news on 2 accounts. Our future breeding queen “Berrick Sienna Shimmer” has been laid to rest after a sudden illness. We had hoped she would overcome it but sadly she was sicker than we originally thought. My heart is broken that this dear little girl is gone. I will love her forever. Because of what has happened we have decided to desex her sister “Berrick Scarlet Fever”. At this stage Scarlet will be staying on here for a little while and may be looking for a forever home later on.

Our other sad news is the passing of another baby we bred “Berrick Kepler” (this boy was actually Sienna’s older brother from a different litter). I received an email from Kepler’s owner that he had sadly been bitten by a snake. I hope he and Sienna find each other at the Rainbow Bridge and look after each other.
